O'Connor Inc. is owned and operated by Bert and Stephanie Atkinson. It was established in 1999 and is located in Charleston, South Carolina. The company imports headwear that is completely finished and has an inventory of blank products available for embroidery in Charleston. Recently the company has also taken on a fulfillment role supplying OEMs and private label products for businesses and brands other than the O'Connor label.

Since it's beginning in 1999, O'Connor has added a retail operation that is primarily involved with monogramming high end house wares. The retail operation has been expanded to accommodate an increasing local corporate business.
